Happy Easter

Happy Easter to all of our loved ones. Spencer and I are enjoying our stay in Florida but we really, really miss Tyson.....so this picture is for him. WE LOVE YOU DADDY.

Spencer had soooooooo much fun looking for his hidden eggs with Uncle Matt. He got so excited every time he opened a new egg to see what was inside. This one he especially loved because it was a chocolate soccer ball.
I have to confess that Spence is all Moore when it comes to sports. He loves to kick and he knows what a soccer ball is, but he is all about basketball. Once he saw his basketball beside his easter basket, Easter was all over. Spence had his own ball and he was ready to go. I'll bet every Moore boy has a similar picture in their Sunday best. (smile)

Spencer had a very happy and fun Easter. It was great to get to share the day with my grandparents, brothers, aunt, and cousin. We love you all and hope your day was great as well!

Fun In Florida

Spencer is having fun in the Florida sun with our Florida family. He absolutely adores his uncles and tries to do EVERYTHING they do. He decided when it was time to go home one night, that he needed to ride in back of the van with Uncle Matt-Matt and Uncle Miney (Mikey). (Unfortunately for him, his mommy did not agree with his decision, snapped a quick photo, and put him in his car seat. He was not happy with mommy.)

Spencer loves getting cards from Grandma and Grandpa Moore in the mail. Thanks for my Easter Card grandma and grandpa.

We went to Bob Evans to eat and Spencer was suppose to get two little pancakes with his meal; the cook decided he needed a huge pancake instead. Spence thought it was great!!!!

Spencer absolutely loves going into great grandaddy's room and getting into his money dish. He has to always know where "Elmer the great", as Spencer calls him, is. (Elmer the great is Spencer's great grandaddy. Spencer heard my grandmommy calling him by his name and thought he should call for him too. Now we hear Spencer every now and then calling for "Elmer".)

One of Spencer's new favorite tricks is to lift himself up on the table like so. He is not suppose to climb on top of the table, so he has figured out a way to get on the table without getting into trouble. Just like his daddy.......oh, okay, this is what I would do so I suppose I should say just like his mommy! (smile)

Spencer got to try out his new floatie swim suit a few times with his uncles before he got his ear infection. Hopefully he can swim again before we leave.

We had to take Spence to Steak and Shake.....He loved his hat. Sure is a Moore, isn't he?!

Cooking and Work

We took a break from making cookies to get a quick snapshot together. Isn't Spencer just adorable.

Spencer sure worked hard on our cookies for family home evening and we enjoyed every minute of it!

Tyson let Spencer plop some of the cookies on the sheet...he is so serious when he is in the kitchen cooking. I love watchin my little man grow up!

Spence loves to go to work with Daddy. Here he is on his favorite stone; his favorite place to sit at the office, however, is on the stone bench with mommy.

Spencer working hard in his back room daddy has set up for him at the office. He loves to be with his daddy; he also loves to copy his daddy hence 'office type look on his play table'. (smile)

Our little man after a long day at daddy's office. He loves his new big boy bed!! Doesn't he look so, so tiny?! (smile)

Look what I got into this time!

You leave him alone for just a couple of seconds and look what he does! (smile)

Spencer just loves to stir things, even a salt shaker in peanut butter.
I tried to upload a video of him with the peanut butter, but I was just over the allowed size....rats! guess I will have to send it via email; write me if you want to see it!

Adorable............but messy!

I'm telling you, he is just like his dadddy; Spence loves to be in the kitchen. Stirring up trouble....uhhh....I mean....food and fun! (big smile)

Such a little boy these days....my baby boy is no more!

Lets try this again!

Okay, so it has been forever since I have even thought of posting on this blog. Tyson and I have never been the biggest fans and with how crazy our life has been this past year, this blog was the last thing on our minds. Recently, however, I somehow ended up with a facebook page and quite a few friends. Also not something I ever thought I would be a part of! (smile) I do want to share updates about us and Spence with all of our family and friends, and this blog is such a great way to do it. So, I will attempt once more to post on our blog. I am not promising a blog every week, but at least once a month I feel is a do-able goal. (we shall see...only time will tell! smile) So here we go again!! Above: I gave Spencer flour to play with while I was cooking dinner and he absolutely loved it; for about 15 minutes and then he wanted to be done with it immediately. It is so fun to watch him explore his world around him!

Below: We went to Sweet Tomato's with Uncle Matias to spend time with him before he went back to Argentina for a while. Spencer enjoyed his very first ice cream cone. Now, this was not his first time eating ice cream from a cone, no, this was his first time having his very own ice cream cone. As you can see, the personal cone was a hit!

Below: Spence is wearing uncle Timmy's hat and was not ready for the picture. I love this pic.! I think he looks so adorable, even if he is not smiling.
That is is for now. Can you believe Spencer is 18 months old already! And man, he is just talking up a storm. Some of his favorite words or phrases are: Alright! Alright dude! Down! Thanks! Light; Dark; up; doggy; daddy, grandaddy; grandpa; grandmommy; grandma; out; bottle; eat; night-night! fan; manias (uncle matias); mimmy (uncle timmy); mat-mat (uncle mat); ris (uncle chris); ni-ni-ni (houdini-my sisters dog); ribit (a new fav.) and amen! He also will call his aunt katie by her name sometimes, and his favorite little buddy Cayden (his cousin) he calls a word that is very similar to daddy. I think it is because of the 'd' sound in Cayden's name and in daddy. He knows what he is saying when he calls Cayden's name; to us it might sound like daddy but to Spence he is saying Cayden. Spencer is the joy of our life. He is growing great and learns new words and new habbits every day. He gets in to everything and has just about everyone wrapped around his little finger. He is such a great little boy and we are so blessed to have him in our family. (by the way, we have moved AGAIN! We swear we are not moving for a long time to come, but we have said that before, haven't we. smile! We found a home I can run a home preschool/child care program from, so keep your fingers crossed for us!) I'll do my best to update soon.
